🏆 What junior golfers can takeaway from Rory's historic win
After watching Rory's performance over the four days at the Masters, you could certainly come away with a laundry list of valuable nuggets. Lessons like how experience compounds over time, the mental game makes the difference, and the strong course
management are the tip of the iceburg.
One of the biggest takeaways for me (and I think any junior golfer) was how much preparation Rory put into this Masters.
You would think someone who already won there once wouldn't feel such pressure to come so prepared. It was mentioned on the broadcast that he would come and play whenever he had a chance leading up to the Masters (of course it helps to have an honorary Augusta National membership and a private jet!).
The numerous rounds and lengthy practice sessions obviously paid off for him. Our son was a worker at the practice facilities during the Masters and he could tell you the countless number of hours Rory spent on the range and practicing the short-game.
It's such a great reminder of how all
levels of golf require showing up and getting prepared, no matter what you've already accomplished!
