🏆 How do we make golf scheduling (a little) less stressul?
Last week I briefly highlighted the new tournament scheduling service from Coach Michael Burcin and his team at Under Par Consulting. This week I thought you might like to hear directly from Coach Burcin himself, and find out if this is something you
could use for your junior golfer.
There is no doubt scheduling for junior golfers has become more a full time job. I hear regular stories of parents staying up till 12:01am to click register, only to be denied. Part of
this process also involves targeting the correct events based on age, level of experience, ranking, financial constraints, and where you live.
We recently created a unique tool that helps families build a schedule based on parental input. You can find out more details about this tool here.
The tool is a short survey we send to each family and you simply add the information that will allow us to create a schedule based on the season and where a player lives. For a very low cost and less stress, we can build your junior golf schedule with just five minutes of your time.
If you'd like to get started on this survey right away, then you can access the survey here.
As a former coach I can tell you that playing 24 events a year, traveling all over the country, and feeling like you are signing up your player for the wrong events is not necessary to have a successful junior golf experience and a future at the collegiate level. As with recruiting, using the proper tools for analysis of what is best for your junior golfer will equal a smooth
scheduling process.
